August/September Updates



We are glad you are back and joining us for the Fall 2020 term. International Student Services (ISS) is available and ready to assist you during your FDU journey in these unprecedented times.

We have transitioned several of our in-person requests to our online service platform the International Student Portal (ISP) for your convenience. The ISP is available 24-7 to viewing information and submitting requests. 

All F-1 and J-1 students are required to remain full time (unless completing the degree program this semester) whether you are inside or outside the U.S. for the Fall 2020 term. 
Full time = 9 credits Graduate, 12 credits undergraduate
ALL Continuing Students who have completed at least one semester/term at FDU should update ISS of your whereabouts by completing Returning Student Check-In. This program will help ISS ensure that your F-1 immigration record remains Active.

Graduating? Thesis or Dissertation? Complete the Less than Full Time Form 
Must be received by September 15th

If you have changes in your contact information please update it in the ISP. Any changes must be reported within 10 days of when the change occurred.

All students currently IN THE U.S. and RETURNING to the U.S. must enroll the FDU student insurance plan. Enroll Here: = 
Students who are NOT in the U.S. and will NOT be entering the U.S. for the Fall term should complete the Waiver Request here:
